A Place with Purpose
Hawk & Spur Ranch is the vision for a permanent home where wildlife, land, and people come together.
Rooted in Utah’s mountain landscape, the Ranch will provide the space raptors need to recover and return to the wild, protect habitat for native wildlife, and create meaningful opportunities for people to connect with the natural world.
This is more than a place to build a raptor hospital. It is a place to protect what surrounds it.
A Home for Raptors
At the heart of the Ranch will be a dedicated home for raptor rescue, rehabilitation and release.
Purpose-built rehabilitation spaces will allow injured and orphaned hawks, owls, eagles, falcons and other birds of prey to recover in an environment designed around their needs—from specialized medical care to large outdoor flight spaces where they can regain the strength and skills necessary for release.
Whenever possible, the journey ends where it should: back in the wild.

Land Worth Protecting
The land itself is part of the mission.
Open space provides habitat, migration corridors, hunting grounds and nesting areas for raptors and countless other species. By protecting land alongside the wildlife that depends upon it, Hawk & Spur Ranch can extend conservation beyond the walls of a rehabilitation facility.
Our vision is to care not only for individual animals, but also for the landscapes that allow wildlife to thrive.
A Place for Connection
The Ranch will also create opportunities for people to experience wildlife in meaningful and respectful ways.
Through conservation education, encounters with non-releasable raptors, community programs and Sentinel Sky, our program for veterans, Hawk & Spur will help build a deeper connection between people and the natural world.
Because protecting wildlife begins with caring about the places—and the lives—we share.
Building the Future
Hawk & Spur Ranch is working toward establishing a permanent home in the Kamas Valley where raptor rehabilitation, habitat conservation, education and human connection can exist together on one landscape.
We are building thoughtfully, creating partnerships and looking beyond what a traditional raptor rehabilitation center can be.
